AASM Affirms Its Support to Sleep Medicine Research

A commitment to strategic research into all aspects of sleep and effective clinical practice is a primary tenet of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s mission.

At its recent meeting, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s (AASM) Board of Directors reconfirmed its support of the American Sleep Medicine Foundation (ASMF) by earmarking $1.235 million to support research, programs and initiatives in 2008, including the AASM Physician Sleep Scientist Training Award.
