In advance of the 2008 election, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) will be conducting non-scientific, public opinion surveys of its membership on healthcare issues. The first survey was modeled on a survey published in the April 2008 issue of Annals of Internal Medicine, and asked about universal healthcare. Following are the results of the first survey of the AASM membership as compared to the results of the Annals survey.
