The Sleep Medicine Practice Series of webinars will discuss a variety of topics including compliance, ABNs, evaluation and management coding, “Incident to” and health system reform. A total of eight webinars in 2009 will be included in this series. Individuals who register for four webinars in this series at one time will be able to attend a fifth webinar in this series for FREE*.
The registration fee ($100 for individual members and employees of center members and
$170 for non-members) includes access to the live session and an archived CD-ROM copy of the presentation sent via mail following the live webinar.
During the “Evaluation and Management (E/M) Coding” webinar, Judy Coy, RN, Director of Coding and Compliance for the AASM, will answer the following questions:
What are the types of E/M codes used by sleep medicine?
How do I determine the most appropriate E/M code for an office visit?
What are the necessary elements of a consultation or office visit relating to evaluating a patient for sleep apnea?
