The AASM’s Inter-scorer Reliability testing program allows your center to:
Meet the Standards for Accreditation
- Have the AASM serve as your Gold Standard – there’s no longer any need for you to designate a reference specialist to score record samples.
- The AASM provides the test records – a new set of 200 consecutive epochs will be posted each month so that your scorers can log in to their accounts and complete the required amount of testing at their convenience.
Evaluate Your Staff’s Results
- The program provides record keeping for your facility – when one of your scorers completes an exam, their results will be added to your center’s account automatically for review.
- Find out how your center performs relative to others – compare your center’s individual scorers and overall results to those of all users of this program from centers around the country.
Enhance Scoring Ability
- Improve scoring knowledge and provide follow-up training seamlessly – Record review presentations are now available for live streaming following each month's exam to review the most challenging epochs in the month's sleep recording.
- Immediate feedback is provided – after completing an exam, results with correct and incorrect answers for every epoch are displayed, allowing your scorers to see which questions they got wrong and where their weaknesses lie.
