Since 1975 the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) has been helping sleep disorders centers and laboratories for sleep related breathing disorders thrive in a competitive marketplace for health care providers.

As the national accrediting body for sleep disorders centers and laboratories for sleep related breathing disorders, the AASM identifies sleep medicine providers who offer the highest quality of medical care for people with sleep problems.
