The mandate for the Accreditation Committee should be changed to the following: The mandate of the Accreditation Committee is to carry out the accreditation procedures, as approved by the board of directors, for provisional and full-service centers, out of center sleep testing facilities, durable medical equipment providers, approved OCST suppliers, and A-STEP. The committee should identify issues with accreditation of out of center sleep testing facilities and durable medical equipment providers and recommend courses of action to the board of directors. The committee will recommend to the board of directors accreditation status for provisional and full-service centers, out of center sleep testing facilities, durable medical equipment providers, approved OCST suppliers, and A-STEP.
