The World Federation of Sleep Research and Sleep Medicine Societies (WFSRSMS) has formed three special interests groups to facilitate international research in insomnia, sleep-disordered breathing and the genetics of sleep and its disorders. The interest groups will be responsible for providing input for the scientific program of the organization’s quadrennial congress, organizing meetings of international experts to discuss current research and opportunities, maintaining an inventory of clinical studies in the respective topical area, and facilitating international research and exchange.
Members are invited to serve as an American Academy of Sleep Medicine representative to one of the three special interest groups. Interested members are invited to submit their credentials for consideration. Please send a one-page letter of intent and C.V. to the attention of Jordana Money at jmoney@aasm.org.
