Make plans to attend the General Membership Meeting of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) on Monday, June 8 from 12:15 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at SLEEP 2009 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in rooms 615-616. This meeting is open to all AASM members.
President Mary Susan Esther, MD, will provide an update on societal activities, and President-elect Clete Kushida, MD, PhD, RPSGT, will discuss his vision for the AASM and sleep medicine field during his tenure. Members will also meet new members of the AASM Board of Directors and recognize members who are rotating off. The membership meeting also includes the presentation of awards to top young investigators in the sleep medicine field.
