The Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, the official publication of the AASM, has been accepted by Thomson Reuters for coverage in its Science Citation Index Expanded, which is accessed online via the Web of Science. The index contains data from more than 6,650 of the world’s leading scientific and technical journals across 150 disciplines. Every significant item from a journal is indexed, including original research articles, reviews, editorials, chronologies and abstracts. JCSM also will be included in both the Neuroscience Citation Index and Current Contents/Clinical Medicine. Although coverage will begin with the 2009 issues, it may take several weeks before JCSM articles are indexed.
