Three of the top presentations from the AASM’s Behavioral Sleep Medicine: An Introduction to the Psychology of Sleep Medicine course are being presented as live online webinars for individuals interested in receiving an overview of the application of psychological approaches to the evaluation and treatment of specific sleep disorders. The first of these lectures was presented by Allison Harvey, PhD on March 23, 2010, on the subject of “Hypersomnia” and is now available for purchase as an archived CD-ROM through the AASM Online Store.

The remaining two lectures are currently available for registration. The second webinar in the series will be presented by course chair, Ryan Wetzler, PsyD, CBSM, on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, on the subject of “CBT-I and Hypnotic Discontinuation”; and the final webinar in the series will be presented by Mark Aloia, PhD, CBSM, on Thursday, May 13, 2010, on the subject of “CPAP Non-adherence.” Both webinars will be presented at 12 p.m. Central time.
