CMS Displays 2011 Physician Fee Schedule Proposed Rule: Publication Date is July 13

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) 2011 Physician Fee Schedule proposed rule is now on display at the Office of the Federal Register’s Public Inspection Desk. This is only a display copy; the proposed regulation will be published July 13, 2010. Please note that information in the proposed rule is subject to change before publication. After publication of the proposed rule, the AASM will provide members with additional information as appropriate. Once the comment period ends Aug. 24, 2010, CMS will respond with a final rule, which should be issued in November 2010.
