Next week the application for a new program offering AASM Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Accreditation for non-Medicare providers will be made available on the AASM website at https://aasm.org/membership/committees/. Currently you can download the AASM Standards for DME Accreditation, which was modeled after Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) standards. Applications for AASM DME Accreditation will be accepted beginning Sept. 1, 2010.
