On Oct. 30–31, 2010, the AASM will host a new course at the national office building in Darien, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago) entitled Pharmacology and Sleep Medicine. The course will review current and upcoming drug treatments for the full spectrum of sleep disorders and will be presented by eight leading faculty in the field. Each of the presenters will cover topics within their areas of expertise, ranging from the basic science of pharmacologic treatments to clinical applications for these treatments. Led by course chair, Thomas Roth, PhD, faculty presenting at this inaugural course will include:
