The American Academy of Sleep Medicine is accepting applications for the 2011 Mini-Fellowship in Sleep Medicine for International Scholars. The four-week program provides international physicians from underdeveloped countries with practical training in clinical sleep medicine. The objective is to help them develop or improve sleep-related health care in their home country. Up to 10 selected candidates will spend three weeks at an AASM-accredited sleep center and then attend SLEEP 2011.

Guidelines and an application for the 2011 Mini-Fellowship in Sleep Medicine for International Scholars are available on the AASM website. The application deadline is Oct. 29, 2010.
