Sleep center managers and senior-level technologists interested in learning more about the unique business practices associated with running a sleep center should attend the AASM’s new 3½-day interactive and tool-driven course, Sleep Center Manager Boot Camp, to be held April 4-7, 2011, at the AASM national office in Darien, Illinois. Throughout the course, a diverse faculty of physicians, lawyers and business experts will review topics in the areas of sleep center policies and procedures; legal, coding and reimbursement issues; and sleep center business practices. Following the presentation of each topic, faculty will provide attendees with relevant take-home tools that will allow attendees to apply what they have learned at their facility. Additionally, the final half-day of the course will be dedicated to interactive discussion and sharing of best practices related to the main topics from the first three days.

The final day to register for the Sleep Center Manager Boot Camp at the reduced advanced registration fees is Monday, March 7, 2011. For more information about this course, or to register, visit the Sleep Education Series portion of the AASM website. Questions may be directed to the AASM meeting department at education@aasm.org or 630-737-9700.
