Deadlines are approaching for several upcoming AASM Sleep Education Series courses held at the AASM national office in Darien, IL (a suburb of Chicago).

Compliance Program Development Workshop
Course Date: Friday, Sept. 16
LAST DAY TO REGISTER: Wednesday, Sept. 14
This one-day workshop was created to provide sleep medicine physicians and coding staff with the information that they need to know to perform a self audit and develop a compliance program for billing practices at their facilities.

Workshops in Sleep Medicine: Portable Monitoring
Course Date: Saturday, Oct. 15
ADVANCED REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday, Sept. 16
This one-day workshop will cover topics ranging from the AASM guidelines on identification of patients appropriate for portable monitoring to scoring of portable studies.

Workshops in Sleep Medicine: CPAP Adherence
Course Date: Sunday, Oct. 16
ADVANCED REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday, Sept. 16
This one-day workshop will explore the multifactorial aspects of non-adherence, including mechanical, behavioral and social issues. Faculty will offer practical suggestions for improving compliance and will help participants develop their own strategies for increasing patient treatment adherence.
