Candidates have less than a week to complete the application process for American Sleep Medicine Foundation (ASMF) grant funding. Applications are due on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011 for the Physician Scientist Training Award and the ABSM Junior Faculty Research Award.
For a fifth year, the ASMF Physician Scientist Training Award is supporting research training for physicians who wish to pursue a career as a physician scientist in sleep medicine. Applications are being accepted in the Best Science Category and from AASM Comprehensive Academic Sleep Programs of Distinction.
The ABSM Junior Faculty Research Award provides funding to assist new faculty in the development of a career in academic sleep medicine. The award was established with an endowment of $2 million from the American Board of Sleep Medicine.
