North Carolina House Bill 1381, which would have allowed the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB) to expand its regulatory scope to include inspecting sleep disorders centers including patient medical records, was heard by the Finance Committee on July 24, 2007.

In its review, the Committee voted to strip the bill of all its substantive provisions, and now the bill only addresses the licensing fee changes to the NCRCB.
