April is School Library Month, a celebration of school librarians and their programs by the American Association of School Librarians. Every year, school librarians are encouraged to create activities to help their school and local community celebrate the essential role that strong school library programs play in a student’s educational career. The 2013 theme is Communities matter @ your library®. Help show your support for your community by donating the AASM’s children’s books: I See the Animals Sleeping and The Animals Sleep to local school libraries. Children will learn the importance of sleep for both themselves and animals. Purchase these beautifully illustrated books together or in bulk quantities (10 or more) and receive an instant discount!
