On July 1, 2013, the AASM will launch version 2.0.1 of the AASM Manual for the Scoring of Sleep and Associated Events: Rules, Terminology and Technical Specifications. Version 2.0.1 includes basic editorial updates, including changes to punctuation, grammar and spelling. The AASM Manual for the Scoring of Sleep and Associated Events Version 2.0.1 is an automatic update for all subscribers to the online version of the AASM Manual for the Scoring of Sleep and Associated Events. In addition, the scoring manual iOS app will also be updated to reflect the editorial changes; the new version is currently under review by Apple and an announcement with instructions to update the app will be sent upon approval. The Scoring Manual Committee makes biannual edits to the manual: July’s update includes editorial changes and January’s update includes more substantive updates.
