A study in the September issue of the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine suggests that the Nonrestorative Sleep Scale (NSS) is a valid and reliable tool for the assessment of nonrestorative sleep, the subjective feeling that sleep has been insufficiently refreshing. According to the authors, the scale may serve as a valuable, standardized tool for use in a variety of research and clinical capacities.
