The APSS Program Committee is now accepting applications from AASM and /or SRS members wishing to serve as expert reviewers of scientific abstracts submitted for presentation at SLEEP 2014, which will be held May 31-June 4 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. By becoming an abstract reviewer, you have the opportunity for deeper involvement in the SLEEP meeting while evaluating the most current and exciting research in sleep medicine.

New abstract reviewers are required to have had published at least two first-author peer-reviewed original research manuscripts in any sleep medicine-related topic area. Residents are invited to apply but must meet the same criteria.

Reviewers must be active AASM and/or SRS members in good standing, and must be available to review abstracts during the holiday season, as the abstract review period is December 18-27, 2013.

If you have been an abstract reviewer for the SLEEP meeting in the past five years, you do not need to reapply.

Interested members should electronically submit the following to eschnure@aasm.org by October 11, 2013: an abbreviated CV (full CVs will not be considered) with a detailed listing of peer-reviewed original research publications, review articles, textbook chapters, and prior scientific abstract presentations. A CV in the NIH Biosketch format (template and sample) would be appropriate for submission.
