The American Sleep Medicine Foundation recently announced changes to its requirements for the American Board of Sleep Medicine Junior Faculty Research Award. Young researchers are now eligible to apply after completing a one-year sleep medicine fellowship in an ACGME approved or non-ACGME approved fellowship. The award is aimed at assisting new faculty in developing a career in sleep medicine. The recipient will receive a grant of $50,000 distributed over a two-year period.
