PCORI funding awarded to Sleep Apnea Patient-Centered Outcomes Network

Earlier this week the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) approved $93.5 million to support 29 clinical research data networks. Together they will form PCORnet: The National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network, a secure, national data network for patient-centered comparative effectiveness research (CER). PCORI will fund 11 Clinical Data Research Networks (CDRNs) and 18 Patient-Powered Research Networks (PPRNs), including the Sleep Apnea Patient-Centered Outcomes Network (SAPCON).
