CMS Delays Dissemination of NPI Registry

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced yesterday it has delayed the deployment of the NPI Registry and the dissemination of health care provider data from the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES), which is required under the Freedom of Information Act.
