The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Children’s Study announces a public comment period for the first phase of its study’s research plan. The deadline for comment is September 25, 2007.

According to National Center on Sleep Disorders Research (NCSDR), tentative plans for sleep-related data collection include maternal interview at delivery; plans for infant sleeping; disruption of child sleep by wheezing; health-related behaviors; child’s sleep duration; day and night control of allergens; sleep environment; and maternal sleep habits prior to and during pregnancy.
