A recent study in the November 15 issue of the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine suggests long sleep intervals in older people may increase osteoporosis (OS) risk. Researchers suggest despite reduced physical activity and body mass which might contribute to OS, the greater factor affecting OS was sleep duration.
