Earn CE credit and gain insight into the Quality Payment Program

The Medicare Learning Network (MLN) recently introduced an online and self-paced course on the Quality Payment Program. This free educational offering is intended for physicians and their support staff. Course objectives include:

• Identify the origin and goals of the Quality Payment Program
• Recognize the four performance categories within the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS)
• Identify the three criteria to be considered an Advanced Alternative Payment Model (Advanced APM)
• Use resources available for the Quality Payment Program

Upon completion of the course, participants may earn a maximum of 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. To take the course, log in to the Medicare Learning Network, navigate to the Quality Payment Program Overview course, and click “enroll.” Additional resources on the Quality Payment Program are also available on the Payment Reform page of the AASM’s Evolve Sleep website.
