The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) has received correspondence from sleep technologists regarding issues experienced during the application process for the upcoming credentialing certification examination offered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
The BRPT is an organization independent of and managed separately from the AASM so we cannot address the concerns raised and encourage all center directors and sleep technologists to direct inquiries to the BRPT: www.brpt.org.
The AASM has been in contact with the BRPT and will assist in any possible way to resolve issues related to testing.
