Sleep Center Technical Supervisor will have primary responsibility for
the management, training, competency development and scheduling of
RPSGT’s, RRT/RCP’s and other licensed technical positions supporting
St. Charles Sleep Center operations, Sleep Lab, and Durable Medical
Equipment (DME) services. This will be a licensed professional role
requiring RPSGT and/or RRT/RCP/CRT certification. The Supervisor may be
called upon to perform technical duties including (but not limited to)
Sleep Studies, MSLT’s, MWT’s and other daily technical operations as
needed. This position directly supervises RPSGTs and RRT/RCPs at both
As required by license.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Graduate of accredited Sleep and/or Respiratory Care program preferred.
RPSGT license required
Current BLS certification required
Valid Oregon driver’s license and ability to meet SCHS driving requirements
Ability to travel to business functions/trainings/meetings and all SCHS worksites required
Personal Protective Equipment:
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to perform the job safely.
Minimum 2 years patient care experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist required
2 years experience in a caregiver supervisory role preferred
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Attention to detail

service skills, particularly in dealing with stressful personal
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Must have excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse population and professionally represent SCHS.
Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels within SCHS and external customers/clients/potential employees
Strong team working and collaborative skills
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Access) and document preparation
