This one-and-a-half-day course will provide physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses with an in-depth look at diagnosing, treating and managing sleep disorders through case-based clinical lectures. Also, this course will provide an overview of the role of the APRN and PA in a sleep medicine.
This course is intended for physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses with 2-4 years of sleep experience who are seeking to advance their practice in sleep medicine.
Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to:
- Identify sleep disorders in complex patients;
- Describe alternative practices to treat, diagnose and manage sleep disorders; and
- Describe the role of the physician assistant and advanced practice registered nurse in sleep medicine.
