Site visitors are qualified sleep professionals specially trained in OCST accreditation. The site visit generally begins at 8am and can be four or more hours in length depending on complexity.
Following the site visit, the site visitor submits a report of compliance and non-compliance with the AASM Standards for Out of Center Sleep Testing in Adult Patients. The AASM Board of Directors is responsible for granting accreditation based on the recommendation of this site visitor and the Accreditation Committee.
