The Illustrated Guide to Polysomnography provides an introduction to the scoring of normal sleep. It describes key waveforms and rules for scoring. The 2009 version has been updated to conform to the terminology and rules of the AASM Manual for the Scoring of Sleep and Associated Events. Speaker’s notes are included as well as a reference list. The Illustrated Guide is intended to teach medical students, residents and new sleep fellows how to approach the sleep recording. It can be used by sleep medicine specialists in a lecture setting or may be used by students for independent study.
