This slide set was designed to serve as the foundation for a teaching curriculum on recognizing and treating narcolepsy. It is intended to be a resource for lecturers presenting to audiences with a broad range of experience and training including medical students, medicine and family practice residents, primary care physicians and physicians trained in sleep disorders medicine. Basic slides can be used to train clinicians to recognize narcolepsy. Sleep specialists will find diagnostic criteria and strategies for appropriate testing and treatment. The set was recently updated to reflect the state of the art in narcolepsy research.
